Bobby Regan
FOUNDER
Bobby the founder and owner of Global Scholars Network, a study abroad organization dedicated to providing transformative educational experiences around the world. With a lifelong passion for travel and a deep belief in the power of cultural exchange, Bobby established Global Scholars Network to inspire students to explore new cultures, broaden their perspectives, and develop essential global competencies.
He has become a seasoned traveler with a wealth of international experience and understand firsthand the profound impact that immersing oneself in a foreign culture can have on personal growth and development. Through Global Scholars Network, Bobby is committed to creating personalized study abroad programs that cater to the unique needs and aspirations of each student.
Beyond his professional pursuits, he is an avid photographer, capturing the beauty and diversity of the places he visits. You can also frequently catch him on the disc golf course or watching Liverpool FC.

JD Parker
REGIONAL DIRECTOR
JD Parker is the Regional Director of Asia-Pacific at Global Scholars Network, where he oversees study abroad programs across the region, fostering partnerships and enhancing student experiences. With a strong academic background, including current Ph.D. studies in Global & International Education at UH Mānoa and field research at Kyoto University, JD’s expertise lies in integrating international educational trends into local contexts, particularly in regard to human rights. He has successfully developed and led numerous study abroad programs, including both in-person and virtual formats, across destinations in Asia and beyond. JD's leadership in promoting intercultural competence and global citizenship has expanded access to international education, with a focus on empowering underserved communities while challenging the dominant narratives that currently shape these fields, fostering more inclusive and transformative educational experiences. His global experience spans diverse regions, from Japan to Africa, equipping students with the tools to critically engage with the complexities of an interconnected world.
